Terminal 2 is the 2nd largest terminal at Manchester Airport. It does not have any piers but it is a long terminal. All of the Gates are joined by airbridges allowing passengers to avoid the miserable weather.
Terminal 2 takes more large aircraft (747's, 767's, 777's etc) than any other terminal at Manchester. It can also accomadate the smaller aircraft such as the 737.
The interior is new as the Terminal is only a few years old, opened by Queen Elizabeth II. The departure lounge is large with many bars and cafe's. To save a long walk down the terminal, travelators have been fitted to reduce the amount of walking.
